Kathryn and Carey were introduced to one another by mutual friends in Baton Rouge while attending Louisiana State University during the Summer of 2010. After both graduated in 2011from LSU, Kathryn headed to Shreveport and Carey to Des Moines, Iowa to both pursue careers in the medical field. Mr. Clifton is a graduate of Sulphur High School and earned a degree in kinesiology from Louisiana State University. He is presently pursuing a doctorate in podiatric medicine from Des Moines University.
