Amy Lee Sydboten and Milton Bailey Kidd IV were united in Holy
Matrimony on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 7:00 in the evening at
Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. The nuptial
service was officiated by Reverend Richard Humphries. The bride is the
daughter of Vicki Lee Sydboten and Benjamin D. Sydboten, Jr. She is the
granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lige H. Lee, Jr. and the late Warrene Lee
of Terry, MS and the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin D. Sydboten, Sr. of
Paducah, KY. She is a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and
Louisiana State University. She is currently enrolled at Louisiana State
University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, working toward her
Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Bailey is the son of Linda
Mizelle Kidd and Milton Bailey Kidd III. He is the grandson of Malcolm
and Marlene Mizelle Domingue and the late Chambliss Mizelle,Back when

State University. He earned a Masters degree in Business Administration
from Louisiana State University and is currently employed in business
development for new and emerging markets with Danos. The bride was given
in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore an
ivory dupioni silk gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and pleated
bodice. The gown was accented with a hand-beaded pearl and Swarovski
crystal belt. Her ivory cathedral length veil was edged in lace. The
bride wore a sapphire and diamond ring belonging to her late paternal
grandmother. She carried a hand tied bouquet of cream, and blush garden
roses, white calla lilies and gypsophila. The stems were wrapped with
lace from her mother's wedding dress.
The bride's matron of
honor was Kimberly Sydboten Riche, sister of the bride. The maid of
honor was Jacqueline Anne Hemphill, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids
were Dr. Christi Kidd-Villa and Colleen Kidd Supple, sisters of the
groom, Rachel Hollier Guillory, Genee Nicole Hebert, Ashley Laville
LeBlanc, Kelsey Elizabeth Lee and Jennifer Elise Love, friends of the
bride. They wore full-length dresses of blush pink silk taffeta and
carried bouquets of blush garden roses and gypsophila. Paden Joseph
Alleman, friend of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen were Michael
